WHERE IS THE FREE YOUTUBE TAI CHI COURSE?

There are plenty of free introductions by hundreds of tai chi teachers on youtube. I Imagine you’ll already have looked there.

I hope this is something different, because if you drop the jargon, the labels, the uniforms and the posturing - that is rampant on Youtube - you will find behind al that noise a quiet, gentle and profound practice that asks from you more than just a couple of minutes attention.

Slow down, take your time and explore the resources below. Give yourself time to savour what you find and I hope you will find it pays off as you develop a deeper relationship with the art.

  1. Observe and read: There is plenty on the web site for you to try. Start with the Basics Series that will introduce you to a few Tai Chi fundamentals, or the Black and White introduction featured here. Then finish off with the Tai Chi FAQ for ideas on how and what to practice.

  2. Choose a course and discover the trial sessions Discover the beautiful Tai Chi Sword Form (for beginners) or the famous 37 Step Short Form Course or the Complete Course. Pick one and scroll to the bottom of each to try out a few sessions for free

  3. Learning Online: Curious about how learning tai chi online works? Take this free 3 day introduction over on the training site here.
